November 11th 2008. Meridian TV interview.
With several local papers coming along to get the news story we suddenly had a call from ITV Meridian. They were also interested and came down to do an interview with Billy Harris our manager and Ian Frater the Chairman of Furni-Aid. This will be shown tomorrow during the day.
Bill Harris being interviewed by Malcolm from Meridian. Their discussion was about the effect the fire had on the building and the devastation of the warehouse and the total loss of all the stock.
Ian Frater interviewed about the history of the charity, and making an appeal for any furniture donations in order for us to get back up and going again.
