Who do we help? People in need, lone adults, lone parents, and families of any race or religion who can demonstrate their eligibility as being in receipt of State Benefit and/or supported by a recognised charity or help agency are entitled to choose from our selection of furniture. We also supply furniture to the general public who are not in receipt of any benefit. We aim to provide a stock of good quality, second-hand furniture and household goods from the community's generous donations. We will deliver the agreed items to their address within the Crawley area. Please visit us during the hours displayed on the Opening Hours page to inspect the available stock. Our experienced friendly staff and volunteers will be happy to assist you in making a suitable selection. The furniture is supplied to all our customers in exchange for a donation towards the collection, storage and delivery of the goods, dependant upon the condition of the items. When furniture has been in our warehouse for a period of time, and is unwanted by any of our clients, we may send it for auction solely to raise funds for the charity. Crawley Furni-Aid is also committed to reduce waste and pollution by recycling otherwise unwanted goods. Its work has been recognised by the Crawley Environmental Forum and it has won a number of Crawley Green Business Awards. |
